After an intensive 4 year course, Katie qualified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine at the London School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1997. Katie did further studies in Tuina massage and internal medicine at Hangzhou University and a Chinese medicine hospital.
As you can never be too qualified or too experienced in this field, as well as practicing full time, Katie continually attends courses to update her skills. She lectures at degree level in acupuncture at Westminster University for 1st & 2nd year students and supervises 3rd year students treating patients in the University polyclinic. She is also an external examiner at CICM in Reading.
She is a registered member of the British Acupuncture Council and Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine.
